LITIER Management Company builds a multimodal logistic network on the cross-road of the main transport corridors North-South and West-East.
The main features of the LITIER logistics network are:
- Multi-modality, which means availability of a number of types of transportation: automobile, railroads, river and aircraft. This becomes possible since the logistics objects are allocated in a number of transportation nodal points.
- Fresh and deep frozen warehouses. All Logistic Centers have different temperature zones with an option of setting temperature from -24°C to +18°C according to the needs of a particular customer.
During the first phase of the project to be realized on the territory of European Russia, LITIER Group creates 6 large A-Class logistic complexes in 4 cities:
- 4 A-Class logistic centers in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov-on-Don
- 2 Port logistics complexes in Dmitrov (Moscow Region) and Kaliningrad
Total area of the warehouses will make about 400 000 sq.m., besides the logistic complexes will have different temperature zones (from -24º to +18º Ñ). The area of fresh and deep frozen warehouses will make about 100 000 sq.m.
The amount of investment makes about $ 800 mln.
The A-Class warehouse complex LITIER Domodedovo located in the South of Moscow region (Don highway in 11 km from Moscow Ring Road) with total area of 8600 sq.m started operations in Q1 2008.
Other logistic terminals will start commissioning in 2012-2015.
